Lonzo Ball Will Be Shut Down
2 years agoChicago Bulls guard Lonzo Ball (knee) is expected to be shut down for the rest of the season. The 25-year-old continues to deal with complications after having meniscus surgery in January of 2022. That injury was supposed to sideline Ball for roughly six-to-eight weeks. Now, fast-forward to present day and Ball has been sidelined over 55 weeks due to the same injury. The organization is unsure why his knee isn't healing properly, but hopeful it will get better over the next 7-8 months. In the meantime, the addition of Patrick Beverley should help fill the void left by Ball. Hopefully, Ball will be ready to get back on the court by October.
