Anfernee Simons Suffers Significant Injury
2 years agoPortland Trail Blazers guard Anfernee Simons (ankle) is set to miss significant time after the All-Star break. The 23-year-old has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 ankle sprain, which carries a four-to-six week timetable. Justise Winslow suffered the same injury on December 21st and hasn't been on the court since then. The team is shutting down Simons and plans to re-evaluate him after the All-Star break. Matisse Thybulle and Cam Reddish should both see more minutes coming their way. The increased roles should make both Thybulle and Reddish worth rostering in 12-team formats right now.
