Jets Have Inquired About Aaron Rodgers
2 years agoThe New York Jets have inquired about Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers' availability this offseason, according to sources. It's a move that was expected for the Jets as they explore veteran QB options. Rodgers is still in the process of trying to decide whether he wants to continue playing in 2023, and if he does, whether he wants to continue doing so in Green Bay. The Jets hired former Packers offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett as their new offensive coordinator, so Rodgers could be persuaded to reunite with Hackett in New York. The 39-year-old future Hall of Famer had his worst season in 2022 by finishing with 3,695 passing yards, 26 touchdowns and 12 interceptions (one short of his career high) in 17 games. If he retires or is traded this offseason, Jordan Love will finally get his chance as the Packers' full-time QB.
