Zion Williamson Suffers Setback
2 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson (hamstring) is expected to miss more time. The 22-year-old has been out since the beginning of January because of a right hamstring strain but was due to be re-evaluated around the All-Star break. However, he re-aggravated the injury and will now be out for at least a few more weeks. Williamson was having an MVP-caliber year after missing the entire 2021-22 campaign with a foot injury, averaging 26.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 1.1 steals in 29 games. But for now, Herbert Jones will remain in the starting lineup. While Jones hasn't been a consistent offensive presence for the Pelicans this season, his 1.7 steals per game should continue to benefit category managers.
