JuJu Smith-Schuster, Kadarius Toney Good To Go
2 years agoKansas City Chiefs wide receivers JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee) and Kadarius Toney (ankle, hamstring) will not carry injury designations into Super Bowl LVII on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles. Both wideouts missed practice all of last week and were listed as questionable for the big game a week ago, but they returned to practice this week and will play on Sunday. And with Mecole Hardman (pelvis) on Injured Reserve, both Smith-Schuster and Toney could have significant roles against a tough Eagles defense. Smith-Schuster had only three receptions for 36 yards in two playoff games, while Toney caught six passes for 45 yards and also rushed once for 14 yards. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes will likely continue to spread things around this weekend. Toney probably has the higher ceiling, but both receivers will be boom-or-bust in the Super Bowl.
