Re-Signing D'Onta Foreman Should Be Priority For Panthers
2 years agoESPN's David Newton thinks that the Carolina Panthers should re-sign running back D'Onta Foreman after he had a huge second half in 2022. He is 26 years old and can be retained at a reasonable price. After Carolina traded Christian McCaffrey to the San Francisco 49ers at midseason, Foreman rushed for 914 yards on 203 carries, pushing the Panthers near the top of the NFL in rushing (1,668 yards) after Week 6. If they let Foreman walk in free agency, Chuba Hubbard would be atop the RB depth chart, but they'd also likely address the position in the upcoming draft. Foreman isn't much of a pass-catcher, but he could be pretty useful in fantasy if he sticks in Carolina and the Panthers upgrade at quarterback this offseason.
