2 years agoWashington Commanders quarterback Taylor Heinicke is set to be an unrestricted free agent this summer. The organization appears committed to Sam Howell as their quarterback for the 2023 season. Despite that, head coach Ron Rivera mentioned that they'd like to bring back Heinicke next season. The 29-year-old would serve as the backup to Howell, but will probably only find backup opportunities elsewhere. That being said, it's unlikely Heinicke will have fantasy value heading into next season.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
