Brook Lopez Leads Bucks In Scoring Monday
2 years agoMilwaukee Bucks center Brook Lopez shot 9-for-12 from the field and became the team's top scorer with 29 points in Monday's 127-108 road victory over Portland. Giannis Antetokounmpo battled foul trouble and finished with 24 points in 23 minutes while Jrue Holiday contributed 20 points. Lopez finished 2-for-5 from outside and shot 7-for-8 at the charity stripe. He missed a double-double by one rebound and completed his line with one steal in 32 minutes. With Portland having the worst defensive record in the league against centers, this was a superb matchup for the big guy, and Lopez could stand out again Thursday against the Lakers, who have allowed centers to shoot 60.8 percent against them this season while giving up a league-high 17.0 rebounds per 48 minutes to the position.
