Jets Have Three Quarterbacks On Their List
2 years agoThe New York Jets will be upgrading at the quarterback position in 2023. The hire of Nathaniel Hackett as the new offensive coordinator fueled speculation about a potential trade for Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The Jets will surely look into Rodgers and they will also look closely at San Francisco 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo and Las Vegas Raiders QB Derek Carr, according to sources. They won't limit their search to just those three QBs, but it's where they will start. Of the three, Garoppolo is the only one that will be a free agent in March, but he has plenty of injury concerns. The Raiders will have to cut Carr if they can't agree to trade him before $40.4 million in guarantees kick in early next month. Trading for Rodgers would require sending the Packers at least two first-round picks.
