Josh Allen Not Expected To Need Surgery
2 years agoBuffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen (elbow) said that they don't think surgery on his right elbow is necessary at this time. Allen said that rest and recovery will be important for it heading into the offseason. The 26-year-old's season came to a disappointing end on Sunday in the Divisional Round against the Cincinnati Bengals. He played through a UCL injury in his right elbow late in the 2022 campaign, but it shouldn't be an issue heading into 2023. Allen finished only second to Patrick Mahomes in total fantasy points at the QB position in 2022, and he'll be a highly coveted elite QB1 for managers entering his sixth NFL season. He finished the regular season with a 63.3% completion percentage, 4,283 passing yards, 35 touchdowns and 14 interceptions while adding a career-high 124 carries for 762 yards and seven additional scores.
