Cameron Brate Scores In Wild-Card Loss
2 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Cameron Brate scored his first touchdown of the season in the 31-14 wild-card loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night. Brate had just one catch on three targets for an eight-yard touchdown. Fantasy managers were expecting much more from the 31-year-old in 2022 with Rob Gronkowski retired, but Brate wasn't much of a factor and rookie Cade Otton was a much bigger part of the passing attack. In 11 regular season games, Brate finished with 20 receptions on 38 targets for just 174 yards and no touchdowns. It was the first regular season that he failed to find the end zone. With Otton likely to continue developing, the Buccaneers may decide to move on from Brate this offseason.
