Kris Bryant To Be Full-Go For Spring Training
2 years agoColorado Rockies third baseman/outfielder Kris Bryant (foot) said over the weekend that he will head into spring training fully healthy and without restrictions. Bryant only managed to play in 42 games in his first year with the Rockies due to multiple injuries, mainly plantar fasciitis in his foot. It's good news that he's healthy already, but fantasy managers will be wary that the 31-year-old slugger can continue to stay healthy as he heads into the latter portion of his career. When the four-time All-Star was healthy in 2022, though, he hit a strong .306/.376/.475 with an .851 OPS, five home runs, 14 RBI and 28 runs scored in 181 plate appearances. Bryant's power was down, but he's a prime bounce-back candidate in the best hitting environment in baseball in 2023 and will have eligibility at third base and the outfield.
