Buccaneers Activate Ryan Jensen From Injured Reserve
2 years agoThe Tampa Bay Buccaneers officially activated Pro Bowl center Ryan Jensen (knee) from Injured Reserve on Monday, and he will be eligible to play in the wild-card game against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night. To make room on the 53-man roster, the team waived inside linebacker J.J. Russell. Jensen was designated to return from Injured Reserve back on Dec. 28. He suffered a knee injury on the second day of training camp and hasn't played in a game since Jan. 23 of last year when Tampa was knocked out of the playoffs in the Divisional Round. Before his injury, he played in and started all 71 games, including the playoffs, since joining the team in 2018. Tampa will also be getting right tackle Tristan Wirfs (ankle) back on Monday, which is good news for a Bucs offense that has really struggled at times this year.
