Joe Mixon A Risky Fantasy Option On Sunday
2 years agoCincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon completed the 2022-23 campaign with nine total touchdowns, seven fewer than he had last season. Even worse, he fell short of reaching the 1,000-yard rushing mark. In all fairness, the former Sooner did miss a few games. However, fantasy managers were certainly disappointed with Mixon's lack of production. With the Ravens on tap for Sunday's wild-card showdown, he'll need to be more productive than when these clubs met in Week 18. Mixon finished that one with only 27 yards off 11 touches. Yet, he at least scored a touchdown while amassing five catches for 41 yards, so his performance wasn't a complete disaster. That said, Mixon has an extremely high ceiling, much higher than other running backs throughout the National Football League. At the same time, the 26-year-old remains a risky fantasy option, especially in non-PPR setups.
