Mike Williams Out 2-3 Weeks With Back Fracture
2 years agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams (back) suffered a small non-surgical fracture in his back in the Week 18 regular season finale that is expected to keep him out for the next two to three weeks, according to sources. It means that barring a Chargers Super Bowl run, Williams' season is likely over. Head coach Brandon Staley is probably wishing he didn't play his starters so deep into a meaningless game last Sunday. With Williams out for the foreseeable future, it makes quarterback Justin Herbert slightly less attractive in playoff leagues, while Keenan Allen should be a target hog in this offense. Joshua Palmer and DeAndre Carter will also have bigger roles and are absolutely worth a look as low-cost DFS sleeper selections.
