2 years agoNew York Rangers winger Chris Kreider (upper body) has been ruled out for Thursday's meeting with Dallas. He was hurt Tuesday against Minnesota and the next game simply comes too soon for Kreider to be healthy again. The 31-year-old will miss his first game of the season. Through 42 appearances, Kreider has tallied 19 goals and 30 points. Alexis Lafreniere took over his spot on the top line in Wednesday's practice. The former No. 1 pick, who has managed a measly five goals and 18 points this season, will get a big opportunity to impress Thursday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
