Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has heated up as the regular season comes to an end, throwing 19 touchdowns over his past eight games.
Prescott last played in Week 17's Thursday night game where he suffered a hyperextended knee against the Tennessee Titans.
The star quarterback's status is worth monitoring heading into a Week 18 road matchup against the Washington Commanders. Will Prescott take the field in Week 18? Let's dive in and take a look.

Dak Prescott Injury Updates for Fantasy Football
UPDATE 1/5: Prescott was not listed on the injury report following Wednesday's practice.
Dak Prescott Injury News
Prescott injured himself during Week 17's Thursday night game, reportedly suffering a "minor knee hyperextension" during the game. He wound up playing through the injury and did not miss any time on the way to throwing for 282 yards and two touchdowns.
Both Jerry Jones and head coach Mike McCarthy were optimistic about Prescott's status for Week 18, with Jones telling reporters that he had "zero concern" about Dak's knee.
Cowboys CB Kelvin Joseph (tooth) and C Tyler Biadasz (ankle) were the only players on roster not to practice today. LB Leighton Vander Esch (neck) returned as a limited participant, as he builds toward playoffs. DE DeMarcus Lawrence (foot) had his usual light-workload Wednesday. pic.twitter.com/yWh7VMtUbd

The team calling the injury minor appears to be accurate as Prescott was not listed on Dallas' injury report following Wednesday's practice session.
Is Dak Prescott Injured or Playing in Week 18?
At this point, it appears that Prescott will be starting without limitations against Washington in Week 18.
The Cowboys are a lock to make the playoffs but they still have plenty to play for, which gives them the incentive to have their starting quarterback under center. If they beat Washington in Week 18 and both the Eagles and 49ers lose, then Dallas can grab the No. 1 seed in the NFC and treat themselves to a bye in the Wild-Card round.

Fantasy gamers holding a Week 18 championship will want to monitor the Cowboys' practice reports for Thursday and Friday to make sure Prescott continues to practice fully but it appears that he is not in danger of missing this game.
If Prescott's knee acts up and he is surprisingly inactive in Week 18, there are lots of waiver wire options available, all of which are outlined here in our RotoBaller Waiver Wire Pickups List.
