Treylon Burks Pops Up On Week 18 Injury Report
2 years agoTennessee Titans rookie wide receiver Treylon Burks (groin) was added to the Week 18 injury report and was listed as a limited practice participant on Wednesday due to a groin injury. Mid-week additions to the injury report usually aren't a good thing, but at least Burks was able to practice in some fashion. It puts the 22-year-old first-rounder's status for Saturday's divisional showdown with the Jacksonville Jaguars in jeopardy. There's a lot to like about Burks' long-term potential in the NFL, but he's been up and down in his first NFL season with 29 receptions for 425 yards and one touchdown on 47 targets in his 10 games played. If he plays Saturday, he'll be a boom/bust DFS option with quarterback Joshua Dobbs making his second start this year. Last week with Dobbs under center, Burks had four catches (eight targets) for 66 yards.
