Teddy Bridgewater's Finger Isn't Broken
2 years agoTests on Miami Dolphins quarterback Teddy Bridgewater's pinkie finger on his throwing hand showed that it was dislocated, but not broken, according to a source. His availability for the Week 18 contest against the New York Jets will come down to swelling and if he can grip the ball well enough to throw. The Dolphins already said that Tua Tagovailoa, who is still in the concussion protocol, isn't in the plans this week, so if Bridgewater isn't cleared, it will be rookie Skylar Thompson making his second career start against a tough defense. Miami signed veteran Mike Glennon as insurance. Either way, fantasy managers will need to downgrade the Dolphins pass-catchers for their matchup against rookie cornerback Sauce Gardner and the Jets defense.
