Dolphins Sign Mike Glennon To Practice Squad
2 years agoWith the Miami Dolphins preparing to be without quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) and with Teddy Bridgewater dealing with a dislocated pinkie finger, the team signed veteran quarterback Mike Glennon to their practice squad on Wednesday, according to a source. If both Tagovailoa and Bridgewater are unavailable for the Week 18 game against the New York Jets, rookie Skylar Thompson would be in line to make his second career start, with Glennon serving as his backup. The 33-year-old Glennon has not made an appearance for an NFL team this year. He played in six games (four starts) for the New York Giants in 2021 and went 90-for-167 for 790 yards, four touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
