Ty Johnson Takes Over The Jets Backfield In Week 17
2 years agoNew York Jets running back Ty Johnson took over the backfield in a Week 17 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Johnson ran the ball eight times, gaining 46 yards and added one catch on five targets for an additional 11 yards. Johnson was out-touched by Zonovan Knight 10-to-9, but Johnson's 57 total yards were more than Knight's 44. It was the most involved Johnson has been this season, and he looked more than solid despite the rest of the Jets offense struggling throughout the game. He may get a bigger role in the Jets final game of the season in Week 18.
