A.J. Brown A WR1 Against New Orleans
2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown will face the New Orleans Saints in Week 17. While teammate DeVonta Smith was the favorite target of backup quarterback Gardner Minshew last week against Dallas, Brown still finished with over 100 yards receiving on eight targets. Minshew is set to start again with Jalen Hurts (shoulder) listed as doubtful, but it is a minor downgrade for the 25-year-old receiver's fantasy production. The Saints' defense allows the ninth-fewest fantasy points per game to the wide receiver position this season, but they could be getting back star corner Marshon Lattimore (abdomen) close to full strength after he returned last week against Cleveland. Lattimore's presence is a slight downgrade for Brown, but the Eagles' passing attack is potent enough with Minshew to keep him ranked as a back-end WR1 in Week 17.
