2 years agoToronto Raptors point guard Fred VanVleet (back) has been deemed questionable to play in Friday's game vs. the Suns due to a stiff lower back. The ailment kept VanVleet out of Thursday's contest, which allowed Malachi Flynn to see an elevated workload, even as he continued to come off the bench. VanVleet has played at least 37 minutes in 19 of his 28 appearances this year, which bodes well for his DFS value if he is ultimately cleared prior to tip-off; another absence would give Pascal Siakam, Scottie Barnes and Gary Trent Jr. more ballhandling opportunities.--Jesse Borek
