Alec Pierce Will Offer Little Help In Week 17
2 years agoIndianapolis Colts rookie wide receiver Alec Pierce has three or more catches in three of his last five games. However, he only had a combined 54 yards in two of those games. The Colts will be facing the New York Giants in Week 17. The Giants rank 15th against opposing wide receivers, surrendering an average of 32.65 fantasy points per game. But with Nick Foles at quarterback, Pierce has a lower chance of having a solid game. Foles completed just 58.6 percent of his passes in their defeat against the Los Angeles Chargers. A slight increase in that statistic is possible against the Giants, but Pierce has to compete for receptions with Michael Pittman Jr. and Parris Campbell. That said, Pierce remains a non-factor in fantasy football.
