2 years agoArizona Cardinals running back James Conner (illness) wasn't seen at the portion of practice open to the media on Thursday, which would mark his second straight missed practice this week. As long as Conner is able to return to practice in some fashion on Friday, he should be good to go for the Week 17 tilt against the Atlanta Falcons. If the 27-year-old lead back is still sidelined on Friday, fantasy managers may want to start worrying about his status for this weekend's game. Conner has been a solid RB2 for fantasy managers in 2022, and he's found the end zone in both games so far without quarterback Kyler Murray (knee). If for some reason his illness is too much and he's held out, some combination of Keaontay Ingram and Corey Clement would operate Arizona's backfield against Atlanta.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
