A.J. Brown Limited With Knee Issue
2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown (knee) was limited in Wednesday's practice due to a knee issue that he picked up in the Week 16 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Despite the knee injury last week, Brown played 92 percent of the offensive snaps and finished with six catches on eight targets for 103 yards in backup quarterback Gardner Minshew's first start. Minshew seemed to prefer wideout DeVonta Smith as his top target, but Brown still managed eight targets and has now gone over 100 yards receiving in three of the last four games. The 25-year-old is also one TD shy of his career-high of 11 set back in 2020 with the Tennessee Titans. Barring a setback, Brown should play in Week 17 against the New Orleans Saints, where he'll be a must-start WR1 in fantasy.
