Will Dissly Lands On Injured Reserve
2 years agoThe Seattle Seahawks placed tight end Will Dissly (knee) on Injured Reserve on Tuesday and promoted cornerback Xavier Crawford from the practice squad to the active roster in a corresponding move. Dissly will miss the final two regular season games after suffering what head coach Pete Carroll described as a knee contusion in the Week 16 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Seattle will have to make the playoffs and advance to the NFC Championship for Dissly to have a shot at returning this year. The 26-year-old mostly worked behind Noah Fant as the pass-catching tight end for the Seahawks this year, and he'll finish the regular season with just 34 catches for 349 yards and three touchdowns in 38 targets over 15 games. Colby Parkinson should see some more playing time alongside Fant the rest of the way.
