2 years agoThe Denver Broncos defense was a popular streaming option in Week 16 against the Baker Mayfield-led Los Angeles Rams offense, but that strategy backfired in a big way on Christmas Day on Sunday. The Broncos defense allowed a whopping 51 points to the Rams and put up negative fantasy points on the day. They failed to sack Mayfield at all, didn't record any takeaways and let Mayfield go 24-for-28 for 230 yards and two touchdowns in the blowout loss. They also surrendered over 100 rushing yards to running back Cam Akers and three touchdowns on the ground. All in all, the Broncos defense gave up 388 total yards to a Rams offense that had been reeling without their best playmakers. Stay away from their defense/special teams in fantasy in Week 17 against the Kansas City Chiefs.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
