Chiefs Not Optimistic About Mecole Hardman
2 years agoKansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid didn't sound optimistic on wide receiver Mecole Hardman's (abdomen) status for Week 16 against the Seattle Seahawks on Saturday. "I'm not sure he's where he needs to be," Reid said. Meanwhile, Reid said he feels "pretty good" about tight end Blake Bell (hip) make his return this weekend from Injured Reserve. Hardman was designated to return from IR last week, but apparently the Chiefs still don't feel he's ready to return. They want the 24-year-old speedster to be fully healthy heading into the playoffs. Even if he were to return against Seattle, Hardman would likely be looking at a limited snap count, making him a very risky fantasy play. If he misses another game, JuJu Smith-Schuster and Marquez Valdes-Scantling will continue to operate as the top two receivers alongside All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce.
