2 years agoChicago Bears running back Khalil Herbert (hip) will be activated from Injured Reserve ahead of the Week 16 game against the Buffalo Bills on Saturday, according to head coach Matt Eberflus. Herbert has been trending toward making his return all week after returning to practice on Tuesday. The 24-year-old hasn't played since getting hurt in Week 10, but he's been looking very good and was one of the most efficient and productive RBs in the league before his injury. Lead back David Montgomery has been on a nice role in recent weeks without Herbert out there. Montgomery should continue to be Chicago's lead back, but Herbert will begin to steal valuable touches away from him this weekend against the Bills. In his first game back, we wouldn't recommend Herbert as an RB3/flex in starting fantasy lineups.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
