Giannis Antetokounmpo Goes For 42 Points Against New Orleans
2 years agoMilwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo was unstoppable against New Orleans on Monday, finishing a 128-119 win with 42 points. He shot 12-for-17 from the field and 17-for-22 at the charity stripe while sinking one of his three attempts from deep. The former MVP completed his 17th double-double of the season with 10 rebounds and posted one assist with one block and two turnovers in 34 minutes. Giannis went past the 40-point mark for the first time since having two such efforts in the first three games of the season. He was out for a game at the weekend with a knee issue, but considering how he played on Monday, it's safe to assume that Antetokounmpo isn't bothered by it at all. It's been another big year for the Greek Freak with averages of 31.0 points, 11.1 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.0 blocks.
