Broncos "Definitely Hoping" Courtland Sutton Plays In Week 16
2 years agoDenver Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett said the team is "definitely hoping" that wide receiver Courtland Sutton (hamstring) returns to play in Week 16 against the Los Angeles Rams on Christmas Day this Sunday. Sutton has missed the last two games after tweaking his hamstring in Week 13. Despite the two missed contests, he's still leading the team in receiving yards with 688 through 12 games played. Still, the 27-year-old has been a massive fantasy disappointment in 2022, along with the rest of Denver's offense, with 52 receptions and only one touchdown. If Sutton returns to face the Rams, he could be taking passes from backup quarterback Brett Rypien with Russell Wilson still in the concussion protocol. Sutton's return would put a dent in Jerry Jeudy's fantasy upside in the final three games of the season.
