Russell Wilson Being Evaluated For A Concussion
2 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson (head) exited Sunday's game against Kansas City. The veteran smacked his head on the ground during a play, which was amplified when several Chiefs defenders landed on him. Wilson looked obviously rattled after it happened, and he was observed with a knot on his forehead while heading toward the blue medical tent. He is now being evaluated for a concussion, and if he doesn't return, his day will end with the signal-caller throwing for 247 yards and three touchdowns (one pick) off 23-for-36 passing while adding 57 yards off four carries, arguably his best showing of the 2022-23 campaign. Brett Rypien entered the contest, and would presumably remain the starter if Wilson can't suit up in Week 15.
