Week 14 will be full of exciting and unexpected games like the NFL has given us all year. The NFL has been full of surprises between the Eagles' 11-1 start and Baker Mayfield leading the depleted Los Angeles Rams to a comeback win against the Raiders on Thursday Night Football.
Hopefully, this DFS article will help you win some money while we watch our favorite teams and players this Sunday. Matchups for the wide receiver position aren't always as black and white as they can be for other positions. Receivers sometimes move around the formation or may face shadow coverage, meaning these matchups need to be broken down deeper based on that data.
Now, here are the top WR vs. CB matchups for Week 14. Use these to set season-long lineups, as well as gain a competitive edge in the DFS games. The matchup data used in this article is from PFF.

Jerry Jeudy, Denver Broncos
DraftKings $5400 / FanDuel $6500 - vs. L'Jarius Sneed
Jerry Jeudy could be in for a nice outing on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs. Much like the Denver Broncos as a whole, Jeudy has been wildly inconsistent and underachieving this season. On the season, he currently averages 3.4 receptions and 51.4 yards per game. Although his per-game averages are not eye-catching, he should see increased usage this week.
Courtland Sutton has been confirmed to be out for this contest, leaving Jeudy as the team’s WR1. Jeudy is coming off Week 13, finishing with four receptions for 65 yards. Kansas City has one of the best offenses, if not the best offense, in the league. The Broncos should find themselves playing in a negative game script pretty early in the contest, which will help Jeudy funnel targets his way.
Jeudy currently garners a target for every 4.4 routes run (22.7% target rate as per RotoViz), which is the highest target rate of all Denver wide receivers. Jeudy could be a solid DFS contributor this week at his current cost.
D.J. Chark Jr., Detroit Lions
DraftKings $4300 / FanDuel $5700 - vs. Duke Shelley
D.J. Chark has had a rough season, missing more than half of it due to injury. Jameson Williams was recently activated from Injured Reserve, and his implementation in the offense is inevitable, but most likely won’t be this week. For the time being, Chark is the clear downfield threat and will be up against Duke Shelley and the weak Minnesota defense.
The Vikings currently allow the second-most average fantasy points to wide receivers and seventh-most to quarterbacks. Shelley has been a solid defender (65.7 PFF coverage grade) but allows 14.2 yards per reception.
Chark is coming off his biggest game of the year, finishing with five receptions for 98 yards against the Jaguars last week. This game will be an offensive showcase, and with teams likely starting to focus more defensive attention on Amon-Ra St. Brown, Chark could put together a great line this Sunday.
Tyler Lockett, Seattle Seahawks
DraftKings $6500 / FanDuel $7700 - vs. C.J. Henderson
Tyler Lockett. One of the most consistent receivers in fantasy football who gets drafted way later than he should. Lockett is having a great season, averaging 5.5 receptions, 69.6 yards, and 0.58 touchdowns per game. He has been on a roll over the past few games, scoring a touchdown in five straight contests.
This week, he’ll get a juicy matchup against C.J. Henderson and the Carolina Panthers. Henderson has had a bit of trouble this year, boasting a low 46.4 PFF coverage grade. Lockett boasts a perfect 100.0 PFF matchup advantage over Henderson and will hope to find the endzone to increase his streak to six games.
With Seattle running back Kenneth Walker III banged up (currently listed as questionable), the Seahawks will likely turn to a more pass-heavy approach. Geno Smith has been playing outstanding this year, and Lockett has been a huge beneficiary.
Christian Kirk, Jacksonville Jaguars
DraftKings $6600 / FanDuel $7600 - vs. Amani Hooker
Christian Kirk was featured in the column last week, and he popped off, finishing with six receptions for 104 yards against the Lions. Kirk is the clear WR1 for Jacksonville, averaging 8.2 targets per game (25% target rate). Over the last four games, he has averaged 6.75 receptions, 82.75 yards, and 0.75 touchdowns per game.
Jacksonville is up against one of the weakest pass defenses in the league. The Titans currently allow the most fantasy points to wide receivers among all teams in the league. Tennesse has a stout run defense, pushing most teams to let their pass attack loose against their weak defensive backs.
Amani Hooker will likely be the primary defender on Kirk this week, who has had a very solid season so far. Hooker currently boasts a solid 76.7 PFF coverage grade, allowing 8.6 yards per reception. Even with Hooker on the other side, this Titans' pass defense is the worst in the league, and Kirk could see double-digit targets in this matchup.
Garrett Wilson, New York Jets
DraftKings $5900 / FanDuel $7200 - vs. Taron Johnson
Garrett Wilson is another player featured in the series last week and was an absolute smash. Wilson finished Week 13 with eight receptions for 162 yards against the Vikings. Wilson has been crushing it since Mike White took over under center in Week 13.
Over the past two weeks, Wilson is averaging 6.5 receptions, 128.5 yards, and one touchdown per game. White has completely transformed this Jets offense, and they are getting a rematch with the Buffalo Bills defense. Buffalo is currently allowing the 13th most fantasy points to wide receivers, with the defense going through some injury troubles.
In the first Jets-Bills game this year, Wilson finished with eight receptions for 92 yards (with Zach Wilson at quarterback). Garrett Wilson has been shining this season, making a case for offensive rookie of the year. Confidently fire up Wilson once again this week, in all forms of fantasy.
Chris Godwin, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
DraftKings $6700 / FanDuel $7500 - vs. Jimmie Ward
Chris Godwin has spent the last few weeks cementing himself as the Buccaneers' WR1. After tearing his ACL last year, he had a slow start this season, with multiple other injuries holding him back. Since Week 4, he's averaged 7.2 receptions and 68 yards per game, boasting a 23% target share (team-high).
Godwin has been used more every game and is currently averaging 9.7 targets per game this season. This week the Buccaneers are the underdogs, going up against a tough 49ers defense. Jimmie Ward will likely be the primary defender on Godwin, who has been a solid defender this year.
The Buccaneers currently have the highest pass rate in the NFL, while the 49ers allow the tenth most fantasy points (on average) to wide receivers. Godwin has been consistent since returning from injury and should be able to put together a nice line this week.
