2 years agoMiami Heat point guard Kyle Lowry (rest) will miss his first game of the season Thursday versus the Clippers. The veteran floor general was the only player left on the team who hadn't sat out any action so far, but Miami is now giving him a day to rest. Lowry was also carrying a questionable tag earlier in the week due to a left ankle problem, so it looks like he's a bit banged up as well. With Gabe Vincent (knee) also ruled out for the contest, Dru Smith will be the team's only true point guard Thursday. However, he's not really someone fantasy managers should target, as Smith has seen very little action during his rookie campaign and hasn't done much in the minutes he has received.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
