Rams Defense Riddled By Injuries To Donald, Others
2 years agoThe Los Angeles Rams face a Las Vegas Raiders offense Thursday that has been on fire lately. The Raiders are averaging 462.3 yards in their past three games, leading the entire NFL, and 29.7 points per game, fourth in the league. For the season, they are top ten in both categories. They are effective at pass blocking, allowing the sixth-fewest sacks, and they protect the football, averaging less than one giveaway per game. The Rams defense will be ill-equipped to handle this tough matchup, as they are facing multiple significant injuries. DE Aaron Donald and CB David Long Jr. will both be inactive on Thursday, coach Sean McVay said Wednesday. LB Terrell Lewis and LB Travin Howard have both missed practice on Monday and Tuesday. The Rams are a poor choice for fantasy DST because they are hampered by injuries and are facing a tough offense.
