Andrew Nembhard Leads Pacers Past Warriors
2 years agoIndiana Pacers guard Andrew Nembhard put in a spectacular performance against Golden State on Monday, leading his team to a 112-104 victory with 31 points and 13 assists. He almost even posted a triple-double, finishing on eight rebounds, and the 22-year-old rookie collected one steal on the defensive end while finishing with 13-for-21 shooting from the field, which included a 5-for-7 effort from downtown. Tyrese Haliburton (groin) sat out a second consecutive game and that allowed Nembhard to run the show, but he was already starting to break out even with Haliburton in the lineup, so the former Gonzaga man could become an intriguing addition for fantasy teams.
