Antonio Gibson Has Pedestrian Performance In Week 13
2 years agoWashington Commanders running back Antonio Gibson had nine carries for 39 yards along with two receptions for 20 yards in Sunday's tie against the New York Giants. The 24-year-old was questionable throughout the week with a foot injury, but ended up dressing for Week 13. Gibson has taken a noticeable backseat to rookie Brian Robinson lately, and that trend continued this week. Robinson ended up out-touching the third-year back 22 to 11. These are concerning numbers for Gibson managers as his rest-of-season outlook appears to be taking a dive. With an upcoming bye in Week 14, he'll hopefully see more work in a rematch against the Giants in Week 15.
