2 years agoCarolina Panthers quarterback Baker Mayfield completed 21 of 33 pass attempts for 196 yards and two interceptions in a Week 11 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, adding 12 rushing yards on two carries. Mayfield struggled, to say the least, in his first start since Week 5 and did nothing to earn QB1 duties going forward. PJ Walker (ankle) is dealing with a high-ankle sprain and may miss a few more games, but it's becoming increasingly likely that Sam Darnold sees the field at some point this season. If Mayfield retains the starting job next week, he will have to face the stout Denver Broncos defense before a Week 13 bye.
