Kevin Porter Jr. Doubtful For Sunday's Action
2 years agoHouston Rockets point guard Kevin Porter Jr. (back) is considered doubtful for Sunday's meeting with the Warriors. He has already sat out one game with lower back soreness and things aren't looking great regarding his availability for Sunday's matchup. The 22-year-old is one of the leaders of the youthful Rockets, averaging 19.1 points a night with 6.1 rebounds and 5.8 assists. He was replaced in the starting unit by Kenyon Martin Jr. Friday, and the 21-year-old has a solid performance with 12 points and eight rebounds. Martin Jr. looks like a nice streaming candidate until Porter Jr. is able to make it back on the court. His absence also results in Jalen Green having more playmaking duties, and Eric Gordon had significantly more shots than usual Friday against Indiana.
