Travis Konecny Won't Play Saturday
2 years agoPhiladelphia Flyers right wing Travis Konecny (upper body) will sit out Saturday's road contest versus Montreal. He appeared to have suffered a hand injury in Thursday's 4-1 loss to Boston and has already traveled back to Philadelphia to undergo further evaluations. Konecny is taking a seat as Philly's best scorer having posted 19 points in 17 appearances. Flyers head coach John Tortorella has said that he hopes to see Morgan Frost step up in Konecny's absence. The 23-year-old has had very little impact on proceeding so far, collecting only four points in 16 games.
