Darrynton Evans Promoted From Practice Squad
2 years agoChicago Bears running back Darrynton Evans has been elevated from the practice squad ahead of Sunday's game versus Atlanta. The 2020 third-round pick appeared in six games for Tennessee in the last two seasons, amassing 61 yards off 16 touches while adding two catches for 27 yards and a touchdown. He was waived back in March and was claimed off waivers by the Bears shortly after. With Khalil Herbert (hip) on injured reserve, Chicago is looking for someone to slide into the No. 2 spot. Although rookie Trestan Ebner was expected to fill that role, moving Evans up to the active roster complicates things for fantasy managers in deeper formats searching for a desperation option.
