Josh Allen Injury Update
Josh Allen suffered an elbow injury two weeks ago and despite all of the concern with his ailment, the star quarterback suited up for the Buffalo Bills in Week 10 versus the Minnesota Vikings. After logging limited practices all week, Allen doesn't carry an injury status into Sunday's contest against the Cleveland Browns, so he'll be starting again for the Bills.
In his start against the Vikings last week, Allen completed 29 of his 43 attempts for 330 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. And while Allen rushed for 84 yards on six attempts (with a lost fumble), it was Devin Singletary that received all of the red-zone carries for the Bills in Week 10.
With the NFL moving Sunday's matchup between the Browns and the Bills to Detroit due to weather concerns, Allen is still a must-start in all formats. That being said, he may see fewer red-zone touches until Buffalo feels more comfortable with his injured elbow.
Lamar Jackson Injury Update
Lamar Jackson made a surprise appearance on the injury report for the Baltimore Ravens on Friday after practicing all week. Even though Jackson was absent from practice on Friday due to an illness, John Harbaugh believes the former NFL MVP will start Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers.
It's a good sign that Harbaugh is confident that Jackson will be active for the Ravens despite his illness, though, you'll want to keep tabs on his status between now and Sunday. If Jackson's status changes, Tyler Huntley (who made four starts last season) would be the starting quarterback for Baltimore.
Meanwhile, if Jackson is active as expected, he could have Mark Andrews to target again in the offense. The dynamic quarterback should be started in all formats with no concerns if he's officially active in Week 11.
Kyler Murray Injury Update
Kyler Murray was sidelined for the Arizona Cardinals in Week 10 versus the Los Angeles Rams due to a hamstring ailment. The former first-round pick is still dealing with the same hamstring injury this week and Kliff Kingsbury said he'll be a game-time decision again in Week 11 against the San Francisco 49ers.
The good news is that Murray appears to be in a better spot to start for the Cardinals than he was a week ago. With Arizona being cautious with its franchise quarterback, they want to see how he feels before Monday's showdown with San Francisco before allowing him to return.
If Murray is unable to go, Colt McCoy would make his second straight start after defeating the Rams in Week 10. In the event that Murray does start, he could elect to run less than usual to avoid reinjury, but most people that are rostering him are going to be forced to start him if he's active.
Matthew Stafford Injury Update
The Rams were without Matthew Stafford in Week 10 after the veteran quarterback entered the league's concussion protocol before last week's contest versus the Cardinals. Ahead of a road bout with the New Orleans Saints, Stafford was cleared from the concussion protocol on Friday, setting him up to play in Week 11.
The experienced signal-caller returned to practice this week and barring any setbacks, Stafford is expected to start on Sunday for the Rams. If Stafford does suffer a setback, Bryce Perkins could be the starter for Los Angeles as John Wolford is questionable with a neck injury.
Even if Stafford does return to the field, he won't have Cooper Kupp available with the All-Pro wideout on injured reserve due to an ankle ailment. For those that have Stafford, you should try to find better options in Week 11 to start at quarterback.
