The Pittsburgh Steelers entered this season with one of the most stable running back situations in the NFL. Najee Harris was coming off a phenomenal rookie season, and with Pittsburgh's offense deteriorating, they found solace in the fact that they did not have to worry about the running back position.
Fast forward to Week 10 and Harris has played so poorly that his backup, Jaylen Warren, has become an intriguing fantasy football option.
Should I pick up and start Jaylen Warren in Week 10? Read on to find out.

Should I Pickup Jaylen Warren in Fantasy Football?
With Harris struggling, Warren has seen an increased workload out of the backfield. Despite the Steelers' overall offensive woes, the rookie has managed to register 83 rushing yards and 81 receiving yards over his last four games. Most notably, during the Steelers' most recent game against the Eagles in Week 8, he amassed 50 rushing yards and 25 receiving yards.
Warren's uptick in volume makes him one of the most intriguing waiver wire additions, especially if the Steelers distribute fewer touches to Harris over the remainder of the season. While Harris' starting role isn't in jeopardy, it is very possible that this backfield could operate with more of a 50-50 split coming out of its bye week. As such, Warren should be added in most fantasy leagues.
Should I Start Jaylen Warren In Week 10 of Fantasy Football?
Warren and the Steelers take on the New Orleans Saints in Week 10, which is good news for a couple of reasons. For starters, the Saints are 3-6, just half of a game better than the 2-6 Steelers. Assuming these two teams play each other pretty evenly, we can expect a fairly neutral game script on Sunday. That means that the rushing attack should operate per usual, without the Steelers falling behind early and being forced to pass all game long.
Additionally, the Saints have been nothing more than mediocre against running backs, allowing the 20th-most fantasy points per game to the position and 10th-most in the red zone. They have also allowed the 14th-most rushing yards per game (95.3) and yards per attempt (4.5). Finally, New Orleans' 0.2 receiving touchdowns surrendered per game to running backs is the eighth-highest mark in the NFL.
Ultimately, while not the best possible matchup for Warren and the Steelers, it's still a matchup that they should certainly exploit. As a result, if injuries or bye weeks have hurt your lineup, Warren ranks as an RB4 this week and is a viable option in fantasy leagues down the stretch.
