Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku is finally showing us what he is truly capable of this season. A perennial breakout candidate, it appears Njoku has realized the potential that fantasy managers had been waiting on for years. Through the first seven weeks, Njoku was the TE4 in PPR formats, providing immense production for the managers who drafted him.
Sadly, Njoku's momentum has been halted by an ankle injury he suffered in Week 7 versus Baltimore. Njoku was having a strong game, having made seven catches for 71 yards before exiting the contest.
Will Njoku be able to suit up against Miami this week? Should fantasy managers consider adding and starting his backup, Harrison Bryant? Continue reading for updates on both Njoku and Bryant.

Is David Njoku Playing In Week 10 Against the Dolphins?
David Njoku suffered a high ankle sprain in the third quarter against the Ravens in Week 7. It was initially reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter that Njoku would miss several weeks while recovering from the injury.
Further testing revealed that Browns’ TE David Njoku suffered a high ankle sprain that will not require surgery but is expected to sideline him 2-5 weeks, per source.

Njoku proceeded to miss Cleveland's Week 8 contest against the Bengals. The Browns then had their bye week last week, giving Njoku extra time to recover in advance of the team's matchup with Miami. Unfortunately, it was not enough time, as Njoku was ruled out for this week's game.

Njoku's absence will negatively affect the Cleveland offense as the Browns attempt to win a crucial conference matchup on the road.
Is Harrison Bryant Starting In Week 10 Against the Dolphins?
Harrison Bryant, a third-year tight end out of Florida Atlantic, has taken over Njoku's spot as the team's starting tight end for the time being. Bryant played 53 of Cleveland's 72 offensive snaps in Week 8, good for a rate of 74 percent. However, Browns quarterback Jacoby Brissett did not target any of the team's tight ends during the contest, including Bryant.
Bryant has made 59 catches for 585 yards and six touchdowns in his short career so far. His best game in 2022 to this point was his Week 2 outing against the Jets in which he made three catches for 45 yards.
Should I Start Harrison Bryant in Week 10 of Fantasy Football?
You should not start Harrison Bryant this week. Ascending into the starting tight end role in Cleveland did not translate into any fantasy points for Bryant in his last outing. Indeed, despite having his largest snap share of the season against Cincinnati, Bryant ran just 12 routes, tied for his lowest total of the season. Njoku's absence did not result in a boost for Bryant's production, and the most likely scenario is that it continues this week.
Although the Dolphins have allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends this season, Bryant is far too risky of a play to be in your lineup. There are much better streaming options at the tight end position out there, including Cole Kmet and Noah Fant.
