Dennis Smith Jr. Questionable For Saturday
2 years agoCharlotte Hornets point guard Dennis Smith Jr. (ankle) is considered questionable for Saturday's matchup against Miami. He rolled his left ankle in a meeting with the Heat on Thursday and wasn't able to complete the game. Smith Jr. also sprained the same ankle earlier in the month in a game against Brooklyn, so he's had some bad luck in recent weeks. The 24-year-old has enjoyed a very productive run in the team whilst a number of his teammates have been nursing injuries. LaMelo Ball (ankle) will still be out Saturday, meaning Smith Jr. would have another opportunity to play a big role, but his awful luck with injuries might rob him of the chance. James Bouknight and Theo Maledon could benefit if Smith Jr. is unavailable, while Terry Rozier will get all the minutes he can handle.
