2 years agoVegas Golden Knights center Jack Eichel had a very happy return to Buffalo on Thursday, leading his side to a 7-4 victory with three goals and an assist. He helped Alex Pietrangelo on the scoreboard early in the third period and then went on to become the third player in franchise history to score three goals in a single frame. Eichel completed the effort with an empty-net goal eight seconds from the end. This was a massive performance from the former Sabres captain, who took his point streak to seven games Thursday. His performances were a bit inconsistent last month, but in general, Eichel has been playing some great stuff in 2022-23, logging nine goals and 19 points in 15 games with a plus-13 rating that tops all forwards in the league.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
