2 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid ended a three-game absence on Monday and crushed the Suns with a game-high 33 points and 10 rebounds in a 100-88 win. He also had five assists with one block and three turnovers in 37 minutes. Shooting-wise, the comeback could have gone much better, but Embiid has been very efficient this season, so we can forgive him for Monday's 8-for-21 effort from the field. He eventually got over 30 points thanks to a perfect 16-for-16 record at the line. Embiid, who spent time on the sidelines with an illness, is set for a dominant stretch, with James Harden (foot) having been ruled out for a month last week. He will be battling the Hawks in the next couple of games in a favorable matchup against a team that gives up the 11th-most points to centers this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
