Ezekiel Elliott Doesn't Practice Monday
2 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott (knee) did not practice on Monday, according to head coach Mike McCarthy. Elliott said the swelling in his knee went down during last week's bye, and he's hoping to return to practice on Wednesday as the team begins to prepare for a Week 10 tilt against the Green Bay Packers. When the 27-year-old does get back on the field, he'll be wearing a brace on his knee, and there's no guarantee he'll actually play this weekend after missing the Week 8 contest. If Elliott returns in Week 10, we wouldn't be surprised to see him share more of the backfield workload with Tony Pollard, who went off for 131 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries in Week 8 without Elliott in the picture.
