Matthew Tkachuk Suspended For Two Games
2 years agoFlorida Panthers right wing Matthew Tkachuk has been slapped with a two-game suspension ahead of Sunday's meeting with Anaheim. The NHL Department of Player Safety punished him for high-sticking the Kings' goaltender Jonathan Quick just before the final buzzer in Saturday's 5-4 loss. Tkachuk's suspension means that the Panthers will be without their best scorer Sunday night and in Wednesday's clash with Carolina. He's off to a superb start at his new club with 17 points in 12 games. Colin White could now find himself logging top-six minutes after impressing on the third line.
